Kmc receives the International School Award from British Council

                     Correspondent and Secretary of KMC Public Senior Secondary School Mr. C.S.Manoharan received the British Council International School Award 2016-2019 from Ms. Sharon Memis., Director, West India of British Council at a function held at Taj Santacruz., Mumbai on 15th December 2016.

                      The process towards getting this award is a customized and specific principle oriented task, where 7 projects have been taken up involving 600 KMC Students into varied dimensions. It helps to nurture the global Citizenship and Enriching learning,enhancing easy partnership with schools abroad in Greece, UK and Srilanka with real time projects in exchanging ideas, photos, videos, Skype interviews etc., show-casing various dimensions of Culture, Heritage , History and Geography and Ecological conditions of Nations which enhances International exposure and inheriting 21st Century Skills globally. Vision

                     This created a platform for the students to get into practical observation and intelligence by getting access to the Industrial operations at a global level. The innovation and the dedicated works contributed by the ISA team was very well appreciated by the British Council.

                     Under the guidelines of the Principal Ms.MaryEmerentia, the ISA Co-ordinator Mrs.Nagamani taken up the project management and supported by the Head of Department's Mrs.Sharmila, Ms.Kowsaiya and Ms.Premalatha with the functional team of 12 staff member group and the whole were congratulated by the School Chairman Shri.K.C.Shanmugam and were presented Mementos. It was also greatly applauded by the Parents and Students of the school for making the Institution to achieve this greatest Milestone.
